Imperial Cities of the Deep South tour from Casablanca

DAY 1: CASABLANCA ARRIVAL

On arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be picked up by our team and taken to the hotel where dinner will be served. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll start the day with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, the Kingdom's economic capital. You'll see its main districts and all its sites of interest: the Medina, Place Mohamed V, Place des Nations Unies, the central market, the Hobbous district, the Royal Palace, the residential district of Anfa and the beautiful corniche of Ain Diab dotted with swimming pools and gourmet restaurants, with the Hassan II Mosque at its tip. You will then leave "Casa" for Rabat, the modern administrative capital and former imperial city of order and flowers. You'll visit the medina, the Kasbah des Oudayas, the Hassan Tower and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V, before touring the ramparts and walls of the Méchouar encircling the Palais-Royal. After visiting the site, continue on to Meknes. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 3: MEKNES - FEZ

On this outing to Meknes, the sacred city of Moulay Idriss, the very first sultan of Morocco, followed by the city of Meknes, also known as the "Moroccan Versailles". At the end of the 17th century, a city was established, surrounded by a triple wall 40 km long, comprising two housing complexes: the Medina, which contains Morocco's most beautiful gateway, Bab El Mansour, as well as the modern city and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an important historical site. After visiting the site, you'll continue on your way to Fez. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 4: FEZ

Spend a full day visiting Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities and the religious center of Morocco. On your tour of the medieval medina, you'll explore the Medersa Bouinaniya, Attarine, and the entrance to the Qaraouiyine Mosque, an educational institution founded in the 9th century and considered one of the oldest universities in the world. You'll then discover the Nejjarine fountain, renowned for its beauty, and the most beautiful souks in Morocco. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5: FES - IFRANE – MIDELT – ERFOUD - MERZOUGA 

Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a picturesque drive from Fez to Merzouga. Passing through Ifrane, nicknamed the "Little Switzerland of Morocco", you cross the Middle Atlas to Midelt, a mountain pearl between the High Atlas Mountains, seduced by its panoramas and typical crafts, offering an authentic immersion in Moroccan culture. Then on to Erfoud, an oasis in the heart of the Moroccan desert, renowned for its preservation of dates and fossils, is a must for adventure enthusiasts. Finally, the Middle Atlas Road takes you to Merzouga, where you'll discover the majestic dunes of the Sahara Desert. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TOUDRA GORGES - TINJDAD

First, an early breakfast to enjoy a magnificent sunrise at Merzouga, then the journey begins in the direction of Tinjdad, passing through the majestic Toudra Gorge. Short walk to enjoy the superb natural setting. Continuation to the indicated town. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA - GORGES DE DADES - OUARZAZATE

After an early wake-up call and a hearty breakfast, our day begins with the discovery of Boumalne Dades, a serene oasis nestled in the heart of the Dades Gorges. We then embark on a picturesque journey through desert landscapes towards Ouarzazate. On our way, we stop off at the Fint oasis, an iconic location for many film shoots, for an unforgettable cinematic experience.

DAY 8: OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we'll start your day by reaching the walls of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the most famous in Hollywood cinema. Stop for lunch on the way. Continuing through the high Atlas peaks, with glimpses of Berber villages. Finally, we head for the city of Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying their green, mountainous landscapes. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA

After an early wake-up call and breakfast, we prepare to visit the red city of Marrakech, which also boasts exceptional and diverse climatic and environmental qualities, with palm groves, rose gardens and immediate proximity to the snow. From here, the valleys and flowers of the Atlas Mountains stretch out. The ramparts, the Koutoubia minaret, the Bahia Palace, Jamaa El-Fna Square and the souks are all part of its charm. The city is a haven of peace and culture in southern Morocco, where traditions live on and architectural heritage is a treasure to be discovered. Travelers from all over the world are drawn to its beauty and charm, making it a place of romance and discovery. As our visit to Marrakech draws to a close, we prepare for our return to Casablanca.  Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 10: CASABLANCA

Transfer to the airport and assistance until boarding.
